Machan Taylor

Machan is a versatile vocalist, composer, and educator whose seamless vocal style has captivated audiences worldwide. She has performed across genres—from jazz to rock to pop—on international stages, television, and in film soundtracks.

Beginning her career as a teenager, Machan quickly rose to prominence in the New York music scene and went on to tour globally with renowned artists, such as Sting, Aretha Franklin, George Benson and Pink Floyd. Her work spans live performance, studio recordings, commercial campaigns, and television.

Machan holds degrees in vocal performance and composition and teaches at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. She also maintains a private studio and has served as a vocal coach for film. Known for her broad experience and artistic insight, she helps students develop their voice and creative vision while continuing to write and perform.
